1969 Ford F-100

Is this a custom restomod or a sleeper? We like to think a little of both. And with an upgraded suspension, comfy interior, and a 4.6-liter DOHC V8 under the hood (you know, like in an SVT Cobra) we'll happily drive this 1969 Ford F-100 anywhere no matter what you call it!We'd like to label this one a sleeper because the high-gloss white gives you the same incognito appearance as the Maytag repairman. But then you start to see the shine of the front bumper, and recognize that the mirror-like appearance is repeated on the rear. In-between is a bright set of Esajian custom wheels that are staggered 18/20-inches front/rear, and it all tucks under a lowered suspension. Oh yes, anyone who gives this pickup a second look will start to understand how special it is. But just because you recognize this super-straight truck for the custom it really is doesn't mean it skips out on true usability. The spray-in bedliner means the Home Depot Saturdays can come before the car show Sundays.Inside is more of this incognito appearance. At first glance, this looks like a nice survivor pickup with good vinyl on the seats and the factory AM/FM radio in place. Most people might not even recognize the provisions for air conditioning. Their first hint might be the custom banjo-style chrome steering wheel on the tilt column. Of course when you twist the key and show off the Dakota Digitals gauges, this will be an undeniable upgrade. And then you twist the key a little further, and the bark from the beast firing-up will melt away any idea that this just some good 'ol pickup.Under the hood is a powerplant that is far more modern than anything to come out of the 1960s. That's a 4.6-liter fuel-injected DOHC 32-valve V8. Ford's knockout of a powerhouse was utilized in everything from the SVT Cobra program to the Panoz Roadster. So when it gets placed in a lightweight pickup body, you know it's going to be a lot of fun. Exhaling deeply out of long tube headers that feed a rumbling dual exhaust also means everyone else will know how cool this pickup is, too. But more than just big power, this one was built to specifically handle its new heart. For example there is an aluminum radiator with dual electric fans to keep everything cool even in the summertime. Also, the four-speed AOD transmission is stout enough to handle all this power, and it gives you an overdrive gear for the highway. There's also power steering, four-wheel disc brakes, and major upgrade to a fortified and fully independent front suspension. Add in the Michelin performance tires, and this is a pickup that is going to handle better than many muscle cars you know. All the components together make for an amazing custom pickup. But the most incredible part how it's all available at such an affordable price. That's why we know it will be going to its new home, soon. Call today!!!
