1924 Ford Model T Roadster/Runabout

Submitted for your consideration is our friend's Model-T Roadster "Runabout". This was carefully sought out by the owner at the time for its complete original running quality, purchased in 2006 and registered as recently as 2011 where it sat in a dry climate garage. It is believed to only have 3 or 4 owners historically for its exceptional original condition. As Henry Ford once said, you can order any color Model-T you'd like as long as it's black! :)On inspection vehicle is complete, solid and an excellent survivor-quality investment.Will update mileage detail in 24hrs.Vehicle was not started at time of these photos, but exhibits a pertronic ignition with distributor to enhance its mechanical reliability. As a friend to family, we make no guarantees about its mechanical worthiness, but I think the photos will tell the story here. Newer Coil is evident and family informs me it was driven in parades and local car shows etc. before owner passed.Amazingly this car has survived nicely over time with its original rubber "Ford" Floor mat intact.Wood spoke wheels are in good shape and otherwise undamaged. Vehicle includes two pieces of leather luggage and accordian-type side rails that are in good shape considering their age.At first glance this has a barn-find appearance to it until you are up close & personal and realize it's just an incredibly solid original car.There is what appears to be an added aftermarket brake light wired into the center of the rear-mount spare which is aged and would have to be replaced.Lots of photos available.Reserve is reasonable for this nice old example.Vehicle is available for inspection in Huntingdon, TN with advance notice.
