,1959 model Ford f 100. 460 cubic inch engine, auto trans, looks to be 9 inch rear end, new items are: interior, fuel tank, fuel pump, large 3 core aluminum radiator, king pins, drag link, door rubber, window rubber, window felt. the truck was painted and placed in a lean too, and sit there for 10 or more years. so some of the paint is beginning to crack, the interior metal work was painted out and looks great, for a truck of this age the body is solid, some quarter size or less in the corners of the doors, some small surface bubbles on some seams. some seem sealer cracked at the joints, some bubbles at the rim under the hood, none appear to be rusted through, very little in cab corners, some spots the size of a dime,at the front of the bed some rust, all these old quads had some there, again this truck is more solid than any late 50"s Ford I have seen in a long time, brakes are up but will need adjusting, The instrument cluster has been changed, I didn't hook it up because I was going aftermarket, the front end will need aligned, the engine runs great and it shifts good, I drove it maybe an 8th mile, the weight of the big block and arm strong steering doesn't work for m, I would need power steering, got soft over the years. just needs very little to getthehitting the road right. don't think this is a cheap rough truck,ITS NOT CHEAP OR ROUGH.This old truck has got great curb appeal, people stop, or slow down just to look at it.
