You are looking at a Timeless 1930 Ford Model A all steel Full Fender Coupe, ready to take out to the Vintage Races or any Banger meet. This Pre-War Hot Rod Coupe has the right "Period Correct Look" built with the best parts available, no expense spared with no corners cut here!
It starts, stops, and drives extremely well, with lots of power. It has a fully rebuilt 1932 Ford 201 CI 3.3 liter L head 4 cylinder motor with a balanced crank and upgraded with a high compression "C" Head, a low miles motor mated to a rebuilt 1932 top loader 3 speed manual transmission with synchros, no Double clutching needed. Gear selection is made with a tall chrome shifter and 1935 bakealite knob. Rebuilt Zenith Carburetor and Cleaned tank with new fuel line. All new 12V Cloth wiring harness with 60 amp alternator. New starter, ignition, high volt 12V coil and FSI pointless Distributor specialty built for this Model B with 12v negative ground. Torpedo exhaust that exits the rear through the pea shooter pipe, Sound awesome! Fresh radiator cleaned and rebuilt with fresh fluids keeps this Hot Banger running Cool.
The all Steel body is straight and solid overall (see Pics) with signs of older repairs and modifications.Solid floors. Shot in a Ruddy Brown hand rubbed for that "Barn Find Racer look", great patina. Working latches and hinged trunk, both doors open and shut very well with new locks and working keys. Original 30 Ford Grill and BLC Guide Headlights on a dropped headlight bar flows seamlessly with the body lines. This Coupe has a functioning chopped windshield that hindges and opens and closes with ease.
The interior is very tidy with the essentials working, done in wood with a Very nice Naugahyde Pleats and Button bench, Very comfortable (see pics). Vintage Rubber Mat over the solid wood floor. The Model A steering wheel mated to a original column has functioning throttle and headlight controls. A assortment of original restored Stewart Warner Gauges, fills the dash with the vitals. The Duo Lamp tail lights function and work.
A complete and restored stock Ford chassis running transverse leafs front and rear. Banjo rear end with all rebuilt Mechanical Drum Brakes. Up front we have a I-Beam Front Axel, lubed tie rods and ends. 7.00 16" Gummed Dipped Tube Tires in the front and 7.50 16" Gummed Dipped Tube Tires in the rear on 16" Black 46' Ford Steelies with original caps and trim rings. New 12V battery concealed under the floor.
The perfect 4 inch heavy chop top by Garlands Customs of Sacramento. All garnish and wood cut to perfection with the chop. This Coupe is a fresh build to look and run like a pre-war vintage styled racer. It has many new and upgraded parts, Lots of accessories and custom pieces.
This is a California Car and has always been to the best of my knowledge, a nice little driver with clear California title and Plate. titled and Registered as a 1930 Ford with a clear title and a visible vin#.
This Ford is for someone to just enjoy as a driver or take it to shows it's not perfect it's not a trailer queen by any means but it's a cool old Rod and there are not many like this around. Drive as is or restore it to your taste. Fly in and Drive anywhere, Must see to appreciate!!!
