We are proud to offer this lovely full size classic cruiser. The 1962 Ford Thunderbird's are some of the most striking cars of the early sixties era, the tail fins were phased away, an style and speed took over. Thunderbird always made a dramatic changed in styling, from the 1st Gen to the Square birds and again with the Bullet Birds. The third generation Thunderbird is the successor to the 1950's 'Square-bird.' The chassis remained very similar to prior models, but was reworked for a smoother ride and better handling. An all-new body-shell featured a crisply pointed front 'prow,' modest fins above huge renditions of Ford's round tail-lights, and a softer roof contour. For its time, the car offered exceptional soundproofing and overall quality. The Bullet Birds today are some of the Most Valuable of the Marque.
This 1962 Ford Thunderbird came to us from Palm Springs, Ca and was previously owned by a very meticulous couple. Both not only were Collectors but serious Car Enthusiasts as well and this vehicle was their personal car for when in the Desert, they drove it regularly, kept it rigorously maintained and prepared this vehicle to the highest standards before offering it for sale. This was the Crusie NIght Car it never left them stranded and it was their favorite car of the collection.
