Description:

1988 Ford Bronco XLT

Vehicle has been in family since 1988. Originally purchased by my dad new off the lot. He eventually passed it down to me. Unfortunately it has sat for many years and became a project that I just don't have the time to take on. The Ford Bronco is a great truck for camping, hunting and fishing. It has a strong V-8 engine and is setup with a hitch for towing. The turning radius is tight and you can make a complete u-turn in a typicalresidentialstreet.
The paint is faded and there are a few dings, scratches and a couple small dents. Overall the body is really straight. There are no accidents or body work done. The rear bumper has an upward bend in it that can be straightened. Pretty sure my sister did it but she will never admit it. The right wing window has a bent frame because someone broke in and stole some personal items that were in the vehicle at the time. There is a small gap from where theypried in.
The engine runs well. It was replaced with a newer year engine and there is about 50,000 miles on that one. There is a glitch in the fuel gauge where it reads empty when it is between 1/4 and 3/4 tank. The seals on the transmission should be replaced. I have to add transmission fluid periodically.
The front tie rods and u joints need replacement. The truck starts to shake around 30 mph. It is not related to the engine. I think it is due to the tie rods. This is the most important repair. Otherwise it drives fine.
The interior is worn and fading but mostly complete. The headliner is gone but the shell is painted so unless you know it had one you could never tell. The rear storage area carpet isdeteriorating. The front windshield is cracked and needs to be replaced. There is an aftermarket radio.
There are multiple pictures of the vehicle and it is 28 years old. Please review them before bidding. I will be happy to answer any questions.
