1970 Ford Mustang fastback

up for auction today is this factory grabber orange mustang fastback also known as sportsroof. this car only has 28387 original miles on it and still has all of its original paint, thats right it has never been repainted or anything spotted in or touched up on it anywhere. I have included a copy of the marti report to show how rare this car is they only made 150 grabber orange 1970 mustangs with theBlack Knitted Vinyl Bucket Seats in them, so how many can possibly be left? The marti report shows that it was sent to Tenvoorde Motor Co. in Saint Cloud MN. and you can still see the sticker from that dealershipon the rear tail light panel (see pics). this is a great find because it has absolutely all the correct overspray factory patterns that you can take pictures of to make a absolutely concourse correct car. another great reason is because this car has never had any body work or paint most of the stainless steel trim is in beautiful condition with no d.a. marks or jitterbug marks no sanding marks no dents or bends from being improperly removed etc. all the glass is also the same no sandblast marks or little circles from getting hit with a orbital sander. another great reason is this car is all original except for keystone wheels and has never been taken apart it is asurvivor with original 351 windsor engine, original fmx transmission, original ford 9 inch rear end all are original and numbers matching and have never been taken out or apart. this carcan be considereda barn find it was last plated, started, and driven in 1985 and has not been touched since then all I have done iswashed it. those are some of the good points along with the fact that the interior is still in good shape and all original down to the am radio. it even has the decor group which is also rare for this car see pics of woodgrain dash etc. now the bad the car has been sitting since 1985 in Minnesota and the underneath is rusty, crusty, and rotted. I took it to the local mustang shop and they said it could be fixed but it is more than I can do so if you are handy with a welder every piece isavailable for this and they are actually pretty inexpensive. e-mail me with any questions.
