1969 Ford Mustang Boss

1969 Ford Boss 302Back in 1974 George Patrick bought this Calypso Coral 1969 Boss 302 from his neighbor a car he always wanted.Soon it was well known as the the car to beat. Even though it was street raced George knew the value of a real Boss. He took great care of the car and always kept it in the garage. George got older and had a family and needed a bigger car and bought a Hurst Olds. The Boss then went into long term storage but it wasn't forgotten. Every now and then the car would come out for a short drive but it was no longer a daily driver and the miles were kept low. The miles showing are believed to authentic at 17000 as shown on the title..Fast forward to 2014 and I get a call from a friend asking if I was interested in purchasing both the Boss and the Hurst Olds.So now I am offering for sale for the 1st time in 33 years this rare 1969 Boss 302.This is an original 1969 Boss 302 painted the rare and desirable code3 Calypso Coral. It was repainted about 25 years ago and still looks great. This is a rust free car. I could not find any evidence of any sheet metal replacement. The floorstrunk and torque boxes are totally rust free and are original to the car. The rad support still has the factory chalk markings on it.It is a non-numbers matching engine but still a Boss 302 just a 1970 vintage engine. We believe the Top loader 4speed is original and so is the rear end to the car. The shifter is correct for 1969. Carburator is original and correct. The distributor is original and correct. All vin and buck tags are in place.Engine number DOZE 6015 C 0E12Transmission number RUG AG. 015306Full Marti Report. Contact me and I will email it to you.In order to get it roadworthy the following was done: Clean and seal original gas tankreplace fuel linesreplace wheel cylinderstune up. That is about all it took.THIS BOSS HAS NOT SEEN WATER NOT EVEN A HOSE IN 25 YEARS!!!The interior is original even the carpets. It is in great condition all plastic in great shape. The drivers seat has 2 small splits and the dash has holes for gauges and some splits in it also. The headliner and door panels are very nice. All glass is very nice with no cracks or chips. All chrome appears to be FoMoCo.This is a goodnice driver quality 1969 302 Boss day 2 car. This is what I know is incorrect or missing. Exhaust manifolds now has headers need to be replaced.
