Started as a really solid car from the dry high-desert area of the Pacific Northwest. Built with the original Ford frame during a multi-year ground up custom build.
Absolutely no frame or floor pan rust issues. Misc paint chips and blems earned while being driven, it's not a trailer queen!
BODY - Special custom touches include molded base grill bars, frenched headlamps and tail lamps, rear opening 'alligator' hood, filled gas door, shaved door handles with remote electric door solenoids, shaved trunk handle, shortened side moldings, V-butted windshield glass, sunken license plate, and shaved bumpers. Both doors have a secondary key operated mechanical opening feature (in case the battery is flat).
TOP - 1941 style top (no rear quarter windows, a '50's custom touch) chopped about 4" and covered with quality Haartz canvas. Top boot included. Has power top hardware installed. V-butted windshield glass
INTERIOR - Cloth interior with power bench seat. Modified original dash. Air conditioning, power windows, power antenna, stereo, remote electric door latch solenoids, and Classic Instruments gauges
CHASSIS - Ford frame was mated with a 1978-1987 GM metric (Monte Carlo) independent suspension front clip with 2” dropped spindles, power steering and power disc brakes.
Rear suspension is also drum brake GM metric with 10-bolt rear with 4-link coil suspension where the GM frame was shaved and welded inside Ford frame rails; retains stock GM geometry.
American Racing Torq Thrust II wheels; 14” front and 15” rear
ENGINE - Smooth running rebuilt 1966 Chevy 327. Edelbrock intake and carburetor, cast aluminum Edelbrock valve covers, cast aluminum timing chain cover and finned aluminum oil pan. Full rear-exit dual exhaust.
EXTRA - Stock dash, gauges, front bumper with bumper irons included.
TRANS - Rebuilt GM TH350 automatic transmission
