1963 1/2 GALAXIE 500 XL 390 cu in Z code 300 horse V8.. automatic,
9" rear end w/ fresh 3:25 posi with new axle seals.. Power steering..Power brakes..Orig. AM/FM radio, Clock, remote left mirror on fender, odometer showing 104,000 miles..
Previous owner had it for 35 years, GARAGE KEPT, not driven much the last 20 years. well maintained and always ready to go never needing a full restoration.
Body: straight and solid, rust free
Paint : older paint showing wear but still shines well with a few dings here and there.
its a good 20 footer.
Bumpers: new front and rear triple plated
Trim: aluminum side trim is still very shinny and nice (due to being stored inside) a
few minor dings.. the stainless steel is all there too.
Interior: the interior in this car is beautiful with no tears or holes in the seats.
same with the original headliner and sun visors. the padded dash has a
of cracks.
Trunk: the trunk is detailed with orig spare and jack. new side boards and mat
Rock solid ..no rust ever.
Wheels: 15 x 7 cragars in excellent conditio, black steel wheel in trunk.. all 5 tires
match.
Brakes: the fronts are new and the rears are 90%.
Glass: all excellent.. windshield like new. (has been replaced) the windows all roll up and down like they should.
Exhaust: is all new.. Sanderson shorty headers, real flo masters..all new pipes
Engine and trans: previous owners had them both rebuilt but couldn't find any paper work. the engine runs strong and doesn't use any oil.or smoke..always fires right up
also under the hood ..new battery and cables, starter, and fuel pump. rebuilt orig carb.
The bad: the radio, clock and heater blower don't work. the dash has a couple
of cracks and the wipers won't park in the right spot (they do work though) and the original wiper arms are in the trunk.
This car is a good sounding nice driving performer that you can drive and show right away it gets lots of thumbs up. I have owned this car for a little over a year and have done lots to it.
this car is also advertised locally and i reserve the right to end ebay ad in the event of a local sale.If paid by a cashier check it will have to clear the bank before the car and clear title are released. (may take up to a couple weeks) no exceptions.
