Description:

1979 Ford F-250

This is a great opportunity to pick up a western 1979 Ford F250 4x4. This is one of my favorite years, they are very desirable, popular and a true classic. Parts are plentiful for them and the aftermarket support is huge if heavy modifications are in your plans. I have had quite a few of these trucks over the years and by comparison, this one is very solid and does not have all of the common rust issues that these trucks are plagued with.
Details:
1979 Ford F-250 4x4, 400 V8 engine, 4 speed manual trans, Carter AFB/Edlebrock 4 barrel carburetor and aluminum intake manifold, Power Steering, Power Brakes, Dana 44/ Dana 60, front fenders have been replaced as well as the passenger bed side.
Brand New Parts:
  • Battery,
  • Radiator, and hoses
  • Starter
  • Fuel pump
  • Tank switch
Extras
  • Oneset of rust free doors.
  • Rear Bumper

Body is in decent condition but does need paint. The cab floor, cab mounts, drip rails and the bed floor are solid and are not rusted through. The only rust through spot I have found is above the driver side rear wheel well which 99% of these trucks suffer from (pic included). There is a slight bit of damage on lower drivers side corner of the bed in addition to a few slight dings. The bottoms of the doors do have some rust so I am including a set of very nice used rust free doors. Sorry, I do not have any of the trim for the exterior or the tail gate handle.
The truck is registered and I do drive it around town. It runs and drives fine. I have never driven the vehicle across country so I do not know how well it would perform on a trip like that. The speedo shows right around 99,000 miles.
Bid to buy, once the reserve is hit the truck sells! If you are bidding, I am more than happy to tell you the reserve. The truck is also listed locally so the first person with cash wins and the auction could be ended early. The truck does not have any warranties express or implied and is being sold as is. It is a 37 year old truck so count on it needing a few items.
I know it is difficult to buy a vehicle from distance so I am available to answer any questions or provide additional photos if needed.
Thanks and happy bidding!
