A REAL un-restored 1965 Ford Mustang

Work done within past 30 days to put the car in dependable reliablecondition. $1200 for parts and labor: New thermostat, new oil pump,oil screen, oil pan gasket, oil change, and filter, oil pressure sending unit, fuel filter, air filter, valve cover gaskets, new spark plugs, New muffler and tail pipe, replaced both rear brake wheel cylinders, new 3 coreoriginalstyle brass/copper radiator and of coursenewantifreeze.

I have owned a lot ofMustangsover the years, but this is the best driving oneever. Great easy power steering, very responsive engine, handles the corners and sits at the correct height, and does notsqueakand rattle like many of the old Mustangs do. It is a absolute pleasure and joy to drive.

Free and Clear North Carolina title to car in my name only.

Retains original 51 year old white with blue interior, original engine and C-4 automatic transmission, factory air conditioning, working am radio, engine paint is original, original exterior color is Caspian blue ( very old repaint). Factory spar, jack, and lug wrench with cap puller in the trunk. Has some fluid drips that are expected for a car this age andcondition. Car was sold new in Durham NC and was owned till 1976 when it was purchased by a Hillsborough, NC family and I purchased it from them in 2016. See copy of the title issued in 1966 attached in this auction. The copy of the back of that title shows transfer to the family in 1976 that I purchased it from.

Car has all original body panels and floor pans and has no known body filler. A very rarevirtually rust free North Carolina car.

It drives like a much more modern car and is a treat to drive a real RARE original un-restored Mustang and get to feel of how it was in 1965.

Well you see many restored cars, but an original car is a site that you can look at and appreciate its use and preservation. This car you can drive and really understand why the Mustang was so popular.

I expect there are few 1965 Mustangs today with as

many original parts as the car you are looking at now.

Because of the car being so original I have it priced higher than some semi-restored cars, but consider how nice it is to know what you have and see it. Consider that the car even though has lots of patina ( cracks in paint, fade, chips, etc- over 30 year old paint) it garners more interest from folks that want to hear the story and see how a 65 Mustang really looked, and you can enjoy how nice it drives.
