This rare all steel 1937 Ford 112'' wheel base 1/2 ton pick up truck comes with a good clean 1937 title ready for you to register. I found this on a farm in a out building sitting since 1954. It has the original flathead v8 and manual transmission. It has a complete dash with all of the gauges in good shape. The seat springs are there and have some of the original covering still on them. The cab looks very solid as pictures and video show (the floors should be addressed) the doors fenders running boards box and tailgate are all there. The hood and grill are there along with bumpers etc. The frame has rust in it so I had a body shop renforce the frame so that the truck can be moved around without the frame breaking (in my opinion frame not usuable). I bought the truck with no wheels but was able to find the correct 37 wheels and put them on the truck. The stud threads had rust so i tac welded the lugnuts to hold the wheels on for moving etc. the engine doesnt turn but is there.(see pics) The doors do not open due to the door latches being stuck and I did not want to force anything. My intention was to put this on a s10 frame and chassi and leave the original patina and steel of the 1937 ford pickup. I have just run out of time and will not be able to get to it. I will help load onto a trailer or transport for the new buyer. This is a rare find in that it is a all steel 1937 ford pick up thats a great and solid start to rat hod, hot rod, or restore back to its former glory should you elect to. The patina is to die for, make sure to check out the end of the video to see the day we pulled it out of its storage. I left the bird crap and peet moss on there and never washed the truck as I loved the character so much.Understand you are buying a truck that does not run and will need total restoration etc. I do not want to overcall it or undercall it, study the pics, watch the video and see what the truck is. I set the reserve well below the market value to ensure a sale, only bid if you are serious about buying this truck. I require a 500 dollar non refundable deposit within 24 hours of auction end. If I do not get the deposit within the time frame or before you come for the truck, I willa ssume you are a dreamer or a scammer and not serious about buying it. I can help recommend shippers I have used in the past who have been very reasonable. If you have any questions at all, call 563 568 1182 or 563 568 5111. thanks for looking!
