Description:

1927 Ford Model T

1927 ford model t roadster, current H/ street roadster SCTA record holder at El Mirage with a speed of 128.578mph, Record was set with a fairly stock hyabusa engine, NO ENGINE/TRANS/ELECTRONICS are included with this car, but a stockish hyabusa engine with some injection/computer work would be capable of breaking the record it currently holds. Record at Bonneville is only 124mph in same class, so that's very achievable with this car as well. This is probably the most aerodynamic of all the cars running in the street roadster class, great car to compete in any of the smaller engine classes, 1.5" roll cage built for a driver under 6'. The cage could be easily changed by replacing the head hoop for a taller driver. Dropped tube axle with 4 bar up front, solid mounted chevy 10 bolt in back, 2x3 frame, fiberglass body, custom built fairing, aluminum seat, fuel cell is in back with access panel in turtle deck, etc etc. The car will pass current scta tech, and has freshly certified fire bottles, it hasn't been ran in a few years so it needs new seat belts. This would make a super easy/ cheap project to get into landspeed racing, install your engine/trans/electronics,and new belts and you're ready to race at the may el mirage meet. car is located in Escondido Ca, if you would like to come view it before bidding just send me a message, I usually work from home so am available most of the time. Buyer is responsible for pick up/ shipping. I do have some shippers I could recommend if wanted.
