The Shelby Mustang is a higher performance variant of the Ford Mustang which was built by Shelby from 1965 to 1968, and from 1969 to 1970 by Ford. In the world of collector cars, the Shelby name is synonymous with extreme performance and collectability.
Finished in the Shelby correct Highland Green Metallic, the paint job shows very minor imperfections visible upon close inspection. Front and rear bumpers have a good fit and finish that shows well. All trim pieces are present and have a brilliant finish.The weather stripping is still very pliable with very little shrinkage or drying. The newer power black convertible top is in excellent condition including it’s back window. The headlights, taillights and Lucas running lights are in very good condition with no hazing or cracks and operate as designed. The original style wheels showed very little marring or curb rash.
Inside, the rich Saddle Tan seats all look great with some signs of very minor wear visible. Excellent matching carpet throughout the interior. The door panels and dashboard are matched perfectly with the exterior of the car and look fantastic. The original steering wheel and optional center console are in great condition. The original equipment Ford AM radio operates as designed.
This nicely represented cobra tribute is equipped with the Ford 250hp 302cid V8 engine, 4 barrel carburetor, HD (heavy-duty) close coupled 3-speed automatic transmission, power steering, power assisted front disc and rear drum brakes, air conditioner, heater and cleared Red Oxide underbody. 15-inch original style Shelby 10 spoke wheels with Cobra center caps and BF Goodrich radials.
If you were to take this 350 GT to a car event, even the most educated Ford enthusiast would have a difficult time telling the difference between this car and a seven figure original! GET OUT AND DRIVE!!!
