We had a great run together but we have a baby in the house now so time to say goodby!
This is a 1931 Ford Model A Tudor Sedan 55-b V back. It is almost all original. Changes include it upgraded to 12 volts, has a windshield wiper, a seat belt, and battery has been relocated under the hood. I don't know a whole lot about these cars but I'll try to give you the rundown. I drive it to work a few days a week so this is everything I have come across from regular use.

The Good:The engine cranks, idles, and runs great! I don't know the last time it was rebuilt but it runs strong.The transmission shifts great through all the gears. It has the occasional drip but I think it is normal for these vehicles.The Clutch is strong and feels like it has tons of life left.All the electrical works except for amp meter. There is a charging light for the alternator to know that it is chargingBrakes work but not great, the emergency break works goodAll windows and doors operate,All engine controls operateIt does have one seat belt installed in the back. This was for my kids car seat.The starter, lights, solenoid were upgraded with the 12 volts.I drive this car regularly to work, two months ago I greased all fittings, rebuilt carburetor, changed two spark plugs, installed a new alternator, installed a new battery and put a new tube in the spare tire.
The Bad:I tried to put a logo on it for my business but it ripped the paint off the passenger door. I primered over it to keep it from rusting which you will see in the pictures.The car does has light rust on the underbody but nothing is bad.The body does have light rust in a few places. I always loved the "old" "antique" "rat rod" look so I never fixed it up.The front right fender does need repair, see picture. Again I loved the "old school" look.The brakes do need servicing. They do work, I drive the car all over the place but drove cautiously.The engine does have some fluids on it, I couldn't tell if it was coming out of spark plug holes from running rich or from head bolts. It is minimal and the engine runs strong so I left it "see above rat rod" or I should say "slow rat rod"The fuel gauge does stick, I replaced the cork but it still sticks.There is a little play in the steering wheel, it may be normal, not enough to keep me from driving 50mph.The back left window does have a BB hold in it.
Overall it has been a great car for me. It is really fun to drive and everyone loves it. It also comes with the hand crank which works great. Everything is really easy to work on and maintain. If you are looking for a classic that looks classic, this is your car. If you are looking from something fully functional to restore with your preferences, this is also your car.
