The flares and running boards are finished in a glossy black paint – which fell into the 1914 “any color so long as it is black” policy. implemented by Henry Ford. It is often stated that Ford suggested the use of black paint from 1914 to 1926 due to the cheap cost and durability of the black paint. The engine compartment and front are finished in a tan that also looks great and compliments both the wood and black paint. The paint is in great condition. showing only minor imperfections.
