Description:

1950 Ford Other Pickups F1

Up for auction is a 1950 Ford F-1 street rod pickup.
This truck is the result of a successful installation of a '50 truck body to a 1974 Ford F-100 pickup complete running gear. The end result is an outstanding ride. The drive train includes the original 74 F-100 302 engine along with the matching C-4 auto tranny and the 3.55 ratio rear. The donor only had 40,000 miles on it, so the extent of improvement was only to replace or update that which appeared necessary, such as brakes, lines, hoses, wiring, etc. the engine had a new 4 barrel carb and intake installed and has a mild cam. The truck was converted to 12 volt and has a nice radio system with new under the seat speakers. The truck has been garage kept since done by both me and the previous owner. It was stored each year from November to May.
The body is well presented in the pictures, so just email if you have questions. The truck is rust free. This vehicle is best described as a daily driver, which will turn heads, and you'll enjoy going to local shows or cruising with it. That was what it was intended to be. To make sure I cover it all, there are probably some small dents or a scratch here and there and somewhere a light bulb doesnt work etc. It starts, runs, and drives and stops, as it should with no issues. It has been 10 years since the build and there is light wear and tear from that time. I recently calibrated the speedo to the new wheels and tires, it had never been done before and now shows 107 miles (dont know why it didnt reset to 0). The previous owner estimates that he put about 2000 miles on it since he built it 10 years ago.
Other items include front disc brakes, power steering, electric fan, headers, 3 inch dual exhaust, VDO gauges (fuel gauge works backwards: fill is empty, empty is full), tinted glass, tonneau cover, tach to name a few. Windshield wiper arms, blades, and rubber are new, please note that the wipers are vacuum not electric.
Upon obtaining it, I had the seat upholstered, installed a new gas tank, updated the tail lights, tailgate locks, new battery, horns, and bear claw latches to the doors. I also put on new Ultra Classic alloy wheels and new tires and took out a dent in the body and touched up that scratches which had occurred over the 10 years since done. This vehicle has a clear Pennsylvania Title in my name.
I have both bought and sold vehicles on EBAY before and recognize that the only successful transactions are the ones where the potential buyer has made an effort to take the time to come inspect the vehicle or send someone to get a look at what they are bidding on. I welcome this, so feel free to make an appointment via email. The vehicle is for sale locally, so I reserve the right to cancel the auction at anytime.
Terms are as found in other parts of this auctions information. Bidders with no or less then 10 feedback need to contact me first before placing a bid or it will be cancelled by me. Its the Bidder's responsibility to pick up the vehicle after paid in full within 2 weeks of end of auction.
