1965 Ford Mustang

This old mustang was built in 1986 by Mike Judge and Tim Hall. They dubbed it "Ye Olde RoadRacer" and tore up the town from 1988 to 1997. It was fitted with monster flares by an oldemployee of a local speed shop named maier racing. The wheels were fitted by larry of larry's tires and the fit is genius. Its unrealhow close the tires are to the body and how wide the tires are. The front end was treated to shelby drop spindles, isc brakes and a huge sway bar. The rear got the same treatment, nd 2 full grown men can only bounce it up and down a couple inches. This car was well known atscca events as well as the fremont drag strip. The fellows had the most luck with a 347 stroker engine. There is a milder,non-running, 02 in there now. The pilot bushing has failed and the mustang has beengrounded for 6 years. Before it wasgrounded, hemustang was a regular on the famous castro valley cruise. For years the guys would race down castro valley boulevard and upredwood road. Ye Olde RoadRacer has many fans in northern california. The man to take over the car after Mike and Tim purchased many, any parts to bring the car back up tofighting form. There is new carpet, ew door panels, ew rear panels to replace the ones with speaker holes and more. He purchased tons of new trim items, nd engine dress up items and everything is here totake the car to a high finish. There is little rust on the car. The rust is mainly under the drivers pedal andthereis a patch panel to fix it. The body has not one rust bubble on it. The engine was rebuilt and everything replaced. There is afresh radiator, fresh hoses, distributors and more. The engine will need to come back out and have thesmallbushing in the rear replaced. The rockers have some rust for sitting so long. Smart moneywould pop the heads off and have a peek inside. There are replacement pushrods and everything is here to build a great street machine. This fastback is a T-code originally, o no hurt feelings over doing it your way. The car is ablank canvasready to be your finest work of art.
