1961 Ford FalconThis is the real deal. Car has been a race car nearly it's whole life. I bought this car almost fifteen years ago. It was sitting in a field for years. Car built in the sixty's with Ford Econoline front axle. I put it back together with a nine inch 57 Ford Wagon rear. 488 rear gears, &M quick shift. Plastic bucket seats, oll bar. Mustang steering connected to axle. Disc brakes added to front axle. Driveshaft loop. Built lumpy 454 with built for racing powerglide. 4500 RPM stall converter. Aluminum radiator. Aluminum slots on ten inch rear with slicks and four inch with VW sized tires on front. Fender wheel headers off 57 Chevy. I stripped off three layers of paint down to bare metal them applied white EPOXY primer. Car still needs slicked out and painted. Holley blue fuel pump, acing fuel tank in trunk as is Battery. The roll bar is just tacked welded, t will need finished welding to be legal.
I never raced it yet! I put mufflers on it to keep neighbors happy. It is very loud. Mufflers do not go with car. I drive it around my residential neighborhood doing burnouts along the way. I'm think it might be more fun to make it street legal and drive to cruise ins. Wired to start car and run charging, uel pump only. It would need wired to complete street duties. It really draws attention.
I have a new rechromed rear bumper never opened also.
I'm at that age where time has run short. So I've decided to sell the car. I have more in it as typical projects go but the price is far less than it cost to build so far. I do not need the money. I'm selling for time to devote to other projects.
