OR SUNNY DAY DRIVES? I acquired this beautiful Medium Bright Yellow. 1973 Ford Mach 1 Sportsroof from a local gentleman who inherited it from his brother in law who had recently passed on. His brother in law had taken the car off of the road in 1984 due to getting too many moving violations. He then decided to restore the vehicle and completely dismantle it and as time went on he never finished it and stored it away. Due to work and illness it was never completed and I aquired it from his brother in law so it is a one owner vehicle. It took me a year of hunting parts and building this car from scratch to get it to what you see today. Open the drivers door and as you get behind the wheel it will bring back memories of your senior year in high school. The interior of this Mustang has been re-done. The front and rear seats have been re-upholstered. the headliner is new. the rear panels have been reconditioned and the only problem with it is that one of them is missing its ash tray. The door panels are original and have been cleaned up but can use a little bit of attention as you can see in the pictures. The carpets have been replaced but unfortunately when they arrived they had a slight tear on the drivers side as seen in the picture. The dash pad is new and all guages work with the exception of the clock. The am radio came with the car but it is not functioning and the steering wheel is new. The glove box houses a am/fm cd radio and the controls for the vintage air unit which uses the original A/C components. Under the hood is a detailed 351 Cleveland 4v 4bolt main with a holley 650 4 barrel carburetor and a edlebrock manifold and a 4 speed toploader transmission rebuilt with a new clutch and a hurst shifter. The car also has a brand new dual exhaust with flowmaster mufflers for that throaty sound. You will be proud to open your hood at a car show or a cruise in and have people admire the detail put into this car. As an addition to this vehicle I added brand new magnum 500 wheels and brand new bf goodrich radial ta tires. I also put new front and rear shocks and springs. The undercarriage is rust free and I bedlined it for added protection and sound deadening. The trunk is rust free and has been undercoated and speckle painted. The original spare tire. jack and trunk mat are missing. The gas tank has been replaced along with the fuel sending unit. fuel pump and fuel and brake lines. This car is really a head turner as you drive around town and when you fill it with gas or stop at a store or a light people will pay you complements. Door Panels Are Showing Age. Factory Radio Present But Not Working. As For The Exterior Rear Window Moldings Are Original But Showing Age. These Are All That I Can Think Of At The Moment.
