1978 Ford Other

I'm selling my 1978 project truck. It was a box truck with a lift gate which I removed and sold. I was turning it into my camper hauler but we've decided to sell the camper. It can be used as farm truck, ut a flatbed on it or put a 1970's dually bed on and have fun with it. This truck is in great shape, olid frame and body. Hood is fiberglass and in excellent condition. This was built back when trucks were built to last. Most of the body work is done. Very little left to do. The body is all in primer. The threshold on the drivers side needs work, he rocker is fine for the most part and the step to get into the drivers side needs some steel but the step is still very strong. (See Pics) I have done a lot of cosmetic work to it. I wire wheeled most of the frame, prayed it with rust inhibitor then spray painted it. Sanded the entire hood and body and primed it. All new LED lights except the head lamps which are original. Installed a custom light bar across the back to put the new LED lights into and wired them. I cleaned up and painted the emblems, he hood latches, he grill, he thresholds, nd the side mirror brackets and put new hardware on some of it. The side mirrors are new. I also put a classic car rear view mirror on the windshield but for some reason the glue failed about two months after I put it on. It was inspected up until Aug of this year and I believe it will pass again. I haven't pulled the wheels to look at the brakes. The gas gauge does not work. I'm not sure if its the gauge or the float. The odometer says 36470 mi. but i'm sure it turned over once or twice. The original am radio still works. I bought everything to give it a tune up but never did it. I will give it all with the truck. I also bought a louder muffler to put on it which I will give also. The one that's on it now is fine. It has the 330 gas motor in it with an automatic transmission. I'm sure I left something out but I'm sure that if you see the truck you will be impressed. I have a lot of sweat equity in this truck. Oh by the way, his truck could have a classic tag put on it for about $126.00 and you'll never have to pay for registration again. but you will still have to have it inspected once a year. You could also put antique tags on it and never have to have it inspected but then you can't drive it after dark.If you would like to see the truck before buying it you can contact me to set up a time. 717-821-2849
