older restoration with reciepts--NO RESERVE

1965 Fiat 1100D DELUXE

This is a Fiat 1100 D which does stand for deluxe. The body is in fair to good shape. It does have some minor surface rust. The right rocker is a bit more than surface, however it is not rusted through. It can be repaired vs. replacement. The front floorboards have been replaced at some point. The interior was restored but that was a while ago. It does need cleaning however no tears or rot that I can tell. The car is complete, however the right front outer door handle is in the glove box as well as one of the mirrors. All the glass is good but the gaskets are dry. All lenses are good. Parts are readilyavailable for this car.Windows roll up and down. The gear shift is smooth however the car does not run. I think the engine is stuck from sitting. I have put Marvel Mystery Oil in the cylinders several times in the past year and have not tried to see if it is free. If interest is generated I willcheck to see if it is freed yet. My guess is that it should be rebuilt or at least the cylinders honed. As you can see it is a simple matter to remove the engine.My health has taken a turn for the worse so I will not finish this project. There is a packet of receipts from the previous owner that weighs about 3 pounds. I have not totaled what he spent. There is no rust in the trunk area and the original spare is there. The worst of the rust is the right rocker and is pictured. This is a no reserve auction. If there are questions, please feel free to ask.
