Quick overview of upgrades/features. This is a 1980 Fiat X 1/9. IT has a rare 13 digit VIN because it is an early 80 right before the change over to the 17 digit VIN. Kind of unique. The Car was titled as an 81 so the Title says 81 Fiat X 1/9. It was first Sold in California in 1983. Since Auto Check isn't available for this car we can only guarantee that it has been In California since 1983. I think it is safe to say since there is not a single spec of rust on the car that it must be an original California Car. Regarding the Title.

New KYB shocks, Beautiful Paint and Interior restored a few years back, asteful front bumper modification, eadlight Relay modification, ow original mile California Car. Was Stored inside a closed garage since 1998. A True Barn Find. Comes with original Cromodora wheels with original Fiat Hup Caps that are impossible to find. Nice tires.

You are buying a very nice Fiat. This car has been off the road since 1998. Extensive work has been put into the car to put it back on the road. As you can tell by the photos the condition is quite something. I will attempt to address all of the attributes and flaws noted. First the chassis has not a single spec of rust anywhere. It’s very clean. There is less than 82,000 original miles. The car was restored about 5 years ago at considerable cost. When this was done there was brand new blue plush carpet and new Blue interior installed including the rear panels and extra thick Door cards. It has double thick Insulation so it is very quiet in the cabin. The paint is very nice. Not perfect but very nice. There are a few small blemishes here and there that are hard to find but I will list them. There is a small ding on the hood that is only visible by looking for it. There is a filled in chip on the driver’s door area as well as the nose just in front of the hood. The front grill has the plastic grill slats missing on the front but it’s hardly noticeable because of the black color. The dash has the typical cracks and blemishes so it comes with a dash cover. There are a few small nicks and scratches though out, ut overall a very nice clean driver. The Optional trunk Luggage rack is removable. Some unique features are the previous owner wanted to turn this car into a Bertone so Even though it is technically a Fiat It comes with the Bertone badges front and rear. The Bertone Badges are original not reproductions. The car handles amazing on its brand new set of KYB shocks installed two months ago. This car has also had some recent April of 2015 extensive service at Snows Fiat Repair in Orange California. The service listed was almost 2000 dollars. Repairs include replacing the upper and lower engine mounts, new fuel pump and Fuel injection service, New Clutch master cylinder and slave cylinder and adjusting the Clutch, eplacing the Water pump with a new one, nd repairing the ignition system and giving the car a Headlight relay upgrade. Other items performed at Snows include a 27 point inspection. New Oil and Transmission fluid. The only odd thing about this car to note is that the previous owner wanted to shorten the front bumper so He shortened it by about an inch and a half. Some folks like this look and some don’t so it really depends on the person. Everything on the car has been tested and works. This one has the windshield wiper fluid pump/bag under the front left headlight. All the gears are in great condition and the cars shifts very nice.
