1978 Fiat 124 Spider, 1800 CC Pinin Farina Body and Trim (Manufactured 06/1978)

This 1978 Fiat 124 Spider is a driver'scar for a serious Fiat enthusiast and it's a head turner. It has been garage kept over its entire history. This car has had on the frame partial restoration. It is in sound mechanical condition, maintained and servicedregularly. There are no electrical or mechanical issues. The power train has the original manufacturer's 4cylinder aluminum block and transmission. Electronic ignition was added. Clutch, alternator, radiator, heater core, water pump and fuelpump are all new. Car has new tires and battery. The blue cloth top and upholstery are in good condition with normal wear and tear. I purchased this car from a friend in 1992 who kept meticulous care of the car and I have done the same over the past 24 years. All service records are included withthe vehicle. Shock towers were completely rebuilt and fender liners added in the 90's. The original front bumper was re-chromed at that time. The rear bumper is original to the vehicle.
I have traveled all over the east coast with this car during the Spring, summer andfall months and shown it atseveral car shows as well as local cruise nights. It has drawn a great deal of attention and entertaining conversation over the years by those who know the history of Fiat in the United States and the design details of Pinin Farina in Italian auto making history.
This car is sold as is condition with no expressed or implied warranties. Buyer is responsible for all taxes, fees, registration and delivery arrangements and costs. Someadditional small parts are included with this car which include theoriginal driver'smanual, tire jack, spare tire, tool box, extra chrome trim pieces, window glass. A new boot is included. I have purchased all parts for this car through two major suppliers in the US fromVirginia and South central Ohio and as much as possible used OEM parts. Thanks for your interest and looking at this wonderful Italian beauty.
