Description:

1970 Fiat Other

Autobianchi is a subsidary of Fiat, Italy. So is Alfa Romeo. That is why this car looks like an Alfa? The mini Alfa I call it.
It is based on the Fiat 500, all mechanical parts are from the Fiat 500 and can be found easily and are not expensive, try FDRicambi, a very good company.
In Europe VAT, 21%, is included in the prices. When exported from Europe the price will be reduced by 21%, S&H will be added.
I will give you a Italian-English dictionary for free that I used to look for parts on ebay.it.
I found it in France, where I used to live, in 2006. Had it painted in 2008, also had cylinders, pistons and clutch replaced. In 2010 I shipped it to Miami. It still has a FRENCH title. The car is more than 25 years old, has to be inspected and can easily get a US title.
The car has to be completed, some parts have to be installed, like the windscreen, the gas tank (new), a heater hose (new),windshield wipers (new), door rubbers (new), 5 tubes and tires (new),floor mats (new) and several other small parts.
Unfortunately there is an electrical short, as soon as I switch on the ignition smoke comes from under the dashboard. I have not found the cause, yet. A new turn signal switch has been installed, that might be the reason for the short.
I do not know if the engine starts and if the brakes work, included is a set of new wheel brake cylinders and a master brake cylinder.
The body is in a very good condition, hardly any rust, except underneath the brake fluid container. Floor pans in very good condition.
The upholstery is in a very good condition, a 2 inch cut in the back of the driver seat is the only negative, repair set included. Door panels are missing, vinyl included for new door panels.
On some places the paint has cracked, see photo's. All the chrome has been redone, except for the middle part of the rear bumper, it is in good condition.
Please come to inspect the car before you bid.
The reason why I sell it is simple: I need the money.
