1966 Fiat 1500 Cabriolet. Great cars when found in great shape. Easy to restore and fun to drive.This car is not for the faint of heart. I do not know the entire history of the car. I bought this car in 2014 intending to salvage parts for a concours restoration we are doing on another 66 1500. In the end the car ended up in storage in our garage. Our restoration is near complete and we never used this car for anything so what you see is how I bought this car. Looking the car over I surmise this car was the victim of neglect. It has rot on the floors and the rockers. Paint is a redo and not to shabby at that time. The car seems to have a 1200 motor from what I surmise is out of possibly a milecento. I do not know more about it that that. The motor does not turn over, feels locked up. The trans shifter is free and moves through the gears ok. Brakes and such are frozen. This car to me is a doner car for another restoration. It has many really great parts that are not offered elsewhere like the trim and wheels and even the dash pad is in tact with no cracks. Feel free to ask questions but I have no real history of the car except to say the guy I bought it from got it from what I believe was an auction from an estate. Car is located on Long Island.
