Description:

1964 Ferrari Other

250 GTE chassis #4257.

Rebuilt early 330 engine (#6533) by Greg Jones of Stuar, L. complete with 6 Weber 40 DCN carburetors. 4 speed transmission w/electric overdrive also rebuilt by Mr. Jones in 2008. Greg also addressed any other issues with the car including rebuilding distributers, xhaust headers, nd adding adjustable coil-over rear shocks.

The car is set up for vintage racing with removable roll bar system, n board halon fire system, TL safety fuel cell hidden under original style riveted aluminum fuel tank, nd remote electrical shut-off.

The original work to re-body the car was done in the mid 1980's using a fiberglass body and shortened chassis. It was previously owned and tracked by an individual who from 1959 through 1961 owned and campaigned an original 1957 Ferrari TR (#0732TR).

I acquired this car in 2008 through Greg. As you can see, he paint and body are in excellent condition, nd it runs and drives great. The seats show a nice patina, ut there is a small tear (1-1/4")in the drivers seat cushion leather. It is kept in a climate controlled showroom, aintained and driven around the lake regularly. This summer the carburetor accelerator diaphragms were replaced as they tend to harden with age. Icurrently need to reduce my collection. Since the car does not have a speedometer/odometer, just listed the mileage as "999". Please contact me with any questions.
