Description:

1991 Ferrari 348

This is a rare black on black 1991 Ferrari 348TS (Targa Convertible) that has been on the west coast for all of its life. Always garaged, ever smoked in, ever exposed to salt, ith no visible rust. This is a low mileage, ell documented and regularly serviced Ferrari its in great shape and functions as it should.

With over $20K in receipts and this summer it had it’s engine-out, ajor service recently completed (@40,794) less than 500 miles ago. At that time, nything found to be askew, as repaired. The following items were addressed:

Timing belt, ll fluids and filters changed (air, il and fuel), am seals and valve cover gaskets replaced as well as necessary seals. Replaced all belts and timing belt tensioners were fit with the desirable Hill Engineering tensioners (better than OEM). Replaced the AC belt Idler with new bearings, s well as coolant hose under intake manifold. A fresh battery was installed as well as fixed a small leak at the CV Boot with full boot kits for the rear end. All new spark plugs were fitted and all fluids (gear, oolant, rake) were flushed and topped off. The car ran great before, ut now it starts up great, rives and shifts very smoothly.

I have owned many cars, ut preach and practice the same regiment. I always make sure I find a great driving condition car (meaning not a perfect example, ot a 10/10, ot a condition #1 car) and then I make it run like a top. With this car, found one I liked and I had it repaired/maintained in order to be able to enjoy the car, s it was designed. A properly running example, uch as this, ives you the true experience of the 348TS and all of its glory. The black and black combination is the icing on the cake (for me, s I don't resonate with red/tan combination Ferraris). Overall, his car has been really well preserved and taken care of throughout the past 24 years. It has been in really good care while its time with me, ut its time we part ways and I hope this vehicle creates as much enjoyment for its new owner, s it did me.

Clutch engages low to the floor with good feel and runs great both at idle and under load while traveling down the road. The lack of engine noise as well as creaks and rattles, ne would expect an older vehicle to have, s quite amazing. Always have run premium gas and synthetic oil in the vehicle. Recently the vehicle has received numerous preventative maintenance items. Tire tread life is at about 70-80% remaining, rakes are also only at about 80% wear as well. However, t’s currently 100% sorted, ompletely rust-free, nd ready to go for the new owner. This is a great condition "driver" which you shouldn't feel bad about going out and enjoying. This car was appraised for my asking value, ver a year ago, revious to the incline of 348 values. The fresh engine out service and recent clutch job means that the car drives fantastic. Not a single thing wrong with the drivetrain/driveability, ust get in and go!

The single stage Black paint job has been recently professionally detailed and looks great overall. The paint shines incredibly and what chips have occurred, ere already touched up and the paint is nearly perfect with the exception of a thin spot/fading like on the hood (~2”) from closing at the corners. The underside of the front lip and other matte black areas have some roughness/scratches from speed bumps and other height obstacles. The engine cover matte black area is a bit faded, ut still retains its originality. The body is straight and true with only very small visible dents (paintless dent repair isn't an option due to the locations, ut I assure you are very hard to detect) and otherwise great fitting body gaps. All glass on the vehicle is original, ncluding the seals, urrently fitted with window tint (not on the windshield).

The black leather interior is in great shape overall with small blemishes, ostly around the footwell area on the drivers side leather and a little bit on the drivers back bolster area. This is all to be expected due to the years and usage for an original condition vehicle. Headliner is without flaw. The interior was recently cleaned and this was never smoked in (no burn holes) and has no musty odors, s it smells like leather/a Ferrari. The carpets are in great clean condition and aftermarket plush Lloyd floor mats in matching black are in like new condition. The dash is in great shape, ut the vents suffer from the sticky-ness these cars tend to have, just try not to touch them when dusting the dash. This vehicle comes with 1 hinged key, ll of its books, s well as the tool kit (both in tan leather) and a rain cover for the Targa top.

Modifications include: 18" 5-spoke wheels from a 360 (can be left black or silver), s well as the 355 rear taillight conversion to update the look of the car (Includes stock tails, asy to switch back). The vehicle has an aftermarket stereo, s well as Alutek White Carbon Fiber interior trim, s well as race catalytic converters and a great sounding Kreissieg exhaust system. Link to sound below.

I am selling this vehicle as I don't tend to drive it at all when bad weather is in the forecast read: rain, now etc. I have other exotics and classic cars and I am getting to the stage of my life where I want to get in and drive whatever it is and not worry about it at all. This car deserves to go to someone who is going to use it more often than I do (pleasure driver). This car is suitable to take on long road trips and to be enjoyed, ut for me I have always tended to treat this like a silver spoon or special china and only use sporadically/occasionally. This is a really great starter Ferrari, hat is well sorted and ready to be driven, r if the next owner so desires, how and shines etc.

The vehicle is currently licensed, egistered and insured for $55K, hich was an agreed value assessment through my insurance company done last year, rior to the inflation of 348 prices. The appraiser placed this vehicles condition at a 2+. The title is clear (no accidents, o salvage etc.). The vehicle currently resides in a climate controlled secured storage garage when I am not driving it on sunny days. I am in no real need to sell the vehicle other than finding it a better home. I am not interested in trades or low ball offers. The 348’s have been increasing significantly in value recently and would be surprised if the trend didn't continue to escalate. This would be a great entry level collector Ferrari that checks all the right boxes (including major service work, ith proof!). I have seen the market on 348’s and I believe this is nicer than those that even offered due to condition and servicing, ut for a reasonable asking price. No risk of bidding war, s you either, ffer me what I'm asking or someone else will! Best of luck.
