1979 Ferrari 308 GTS Rare Special order Schedoni Leather interior

1979 Ferrari 308 GTS serial number 29693 Red with Brown interior. This car was factory special ordered with a Leather interior by Schedoni, the same company that makes the luggage for Ferrari, it was ordered by Hollywood Sportscars. They only made about 19 with this special interior. As the car sits now, it has been given a high quality repaint in the original color, the interior needs to be redone. the floor carpets are missing. The engine is out of the car, it was going to be rebuilt but it was never finished so it needs to be redone. The car comes with service history from the 1980's and 1990's,.It has lived most of its life in California. The car comes with the original window sticker and the little window sticker that Hollywood Sports Cars put in the window of the car which mentions the special option which was $4,600. It has the owners manual pouch and manuals. It also comes with a F-1 Team parking pass from the 1980 Formula 1 race in Long Beach. I was told that the car was used by Gilles Villeneuve for the race weekend. I have nothing else to prove that other than the parking pass.

The exterior of the car shows very well, the paint looks great, the wheels are in excellent condition. The underside of the car is very clean and nice as well, the underside rocker ridges are very straight clean and nice. The car also still has the factory window sticker that goes in the lower drivers side part of the windshield, usually that is not there.Thereare highly detailed photos on the page forzamotorsports that show the car is in great detail.I have sold many 308 Ferrari cars over the years, they are great cars, it is unusual to have one with a special feature or option, there were not many offered which really makes this a special car worthy of taking it further. We just went thru a wave of mass appreciation in which most collector cars became more valuable, and now the later productions car such as this have gained in value. I think that when the next wave hits these cars will lead the way for the next generation of collectors and a special car like this will be something that people will really want.

Car is located in northwest Connecticut about 75 miles north of New York City. If you have questions you can reach me thru ebay or call 860-350-1140. I have a page with many highly detailed photos of the car, forzamotorsports with the usual com ending. International buyers welcome, buyer pays shipping.
