1978 Silver Eagle Coach project - "CLEAR TITLE"
The basic coach began as a government shuttle in Nevada carrying employees from the city to desert sites, so it has been well cared for and in dry, salt-free environments from day one. It was driven from Nevada to St. Petersburg and has been garaged since the move.This Eagle has been in enclosed storage for the last 18 years. It was towed to it's current location 11 years ago.The interior has been cleared and insulated, ready for paneling. The roof has been raised 8 inches with substructure professionally welded. Three new Duo-Therm A/C units are installed on the roof. A new Kubota 4 cyl. diesel generator is in place. Eight new General tires have never seen sunlight and are mounted on new Alcoa aluminum wheels. The unit is a V-8 diesel pusher. Brand new windshield still in crate. Everything you need to finish this project will be included in the sale. The tanks for potable, non-potable and waste water are new and custom built. Subfloor has been replaced with 3/4" a/c plywood and insulated. There is a custom built king sized bed frame that is included with the sale. There are no jake brakes on this coach and the wipers are air.
Nothing has been installed in the way of fixtures or compartments. There is a shower, toilet, passenger chair and captain's chair that is included in the sale but not installed. This allows the next owner to design the layout as they please.
Please note that this is titled as a "PROJECT." The engine runs but it is not road worthy yet because the air brakes and electrical need to be hooked up. All parts are in new or really good condition.
The winner will have 5 days from the end of the auction to move the coach from its current location or the deposit will be forfeited and storage and/or moving fees may be incurred.
It is the soleresponsibilityof the buyer to arrange the removal and/or towing of the Eagle coach and all of it's related contents.
