Straight and Dependable1979 Dodge d100 long box, ight half ton pickup. Power steering, anual brakes, anual trans with OD (4 speeds including overdrive) 64,000 original miles.Everything works well except the radio is mostly static. Perhaps the antenna is unhooked, never messed with it. 225 cubic inch engine with single barrel carburetor for good mileage. Tip of needle is broken on speedometer, ut it still works, nd it's easy enough to read despite needle being a little short.
I've had it for 10 years or so and only used it occasionally to haul a canoe to the river.
Rear tires are pretty new, ronts are pretty good. recently replaced Bosch platinum spark plugs and plug wires, ear coil over shocks, ear tires, attery, oltage regulator, actory vinyl floor mat, oor weatherstripping/seals. Steel patch panels installed in floorboard due to previous leak from bad weatherstripping.
Original paint, ody is good and solid I don't think you'll find a nicer one without looking a good long time. It has spent it's life in rural Nebraska away from the salty cities and highways.
It starts good, uns well, nd drives very well. Muffler is gone, ut it's so quiet you don't need one anyway.

Thank you for the interest.MILEAGE: The Title, revious owner, nd great condition all declare this is original mileage. The odometer has never rolled over to the best of my knowledge, hough I've only owned the truck some 10 years. The rubber clutch and brake pedal covers have very little wear on them, nd the engine and everything are very clean as only happens on a low mileage vehicle.FLOOR PICS:Sorry, don't have any pictures of the floorboard repair. The rusted metal was cut out, urrounding metal was treated with OSPHO rust converter. (Excellent product you should google it.)When applied to rusted surfaces, SPHO causes iron oxide (rust) to chemically change to iron phosphate - an inert, ard substance that turns the metal black.I was so happy with what Ospho did to the floorboards, hat I sprayed the entire underside of truck with Ospho to convert the mild surface rust on frame and underside of body panels, o iron phospate; even the orange "bleeding" on the rims from where the hubcaps scratched the paint.The "WHITISH CORRISION" you asked about is not corrosion nor salt, ut a normal powder that sometimes occurs as a byproduct of the Ospho, nd can be simply brushed or washed off. Patch panels were formed and attached with space age adhesive as new panels often are in the industry.Everything was then primed and covered with rubberized undercoating. Lastly, new factory formed vinyl floor mat with jute paddingwas installed, nd new door seals were installed to correct the cause of the problem.DOORS:The doors were adjusted, nd they open and shut excellent. The hinges and latches have simply never been beat up or worn out.SEAT:The seat spring and foam are in good condition. Original cover has issues with the seams - mainly on the driver's side, ut I don't remember any rips. yet not 100% sure. The original brown and plaid print pattern are all there and can be re-sewn or at least used for a pattern.SWITCHES: Heater, an, ights, ll work fine.
