Description:

1964 Dodge Other Pickups W300

NO RESERVE Auction at low (maybe stupidly) opening bid price..
Detailed spec info on this truck will be given at the bottom of this description.
I have decided to do this is a no reserve auction. It is a risk as trucks in not nearly as good condition have sold on ebay at 10x and higher prices than this opening bid amount. Granted, his is a huge risk in selling on no reserve with an extremely low starting bid, ut a risk we are willing to take since our many retirement service projects are urgently waiting, hich we want to get freed up to embark upon.
We are listing a number of our restoration project trucks due to personnel health issues and our retirement effort. We are now selling all our intended restoration projects, f which we will are now listing this as our fourth one. We have restored about a dozen vintage trucks to show quality, ut have more remaining trucks which we will not be able to complete and will probably be listing soon.
Buyer will need to contact us for full payment within 7 days for instructions. Only a $500 immediate down payment is required and will be accepted via paypal.
We also have a really nice steel flatbed with over cab rack which we would be willing to sell very reasonably if the buyer wanted the bed. We could even do the flatbed installation and lights, tc. if the buyer desires.
Actual shipping cost will depend upon location of buyer. We get good freight discounts so that should work out well for the buyer. Of course, he buyer is welcome to secure their own freight bids and send their own shipper who we will freely load.
In that we are retiring from our little group of family businesses, e will be listing a bunch of equipment and vehicles including the following described Power Wagon, hich will be an awesome restoration project.
1964 Dodge W300 Dually We purchased this truck several years ago for a dual purpose. We dismantled the fire gear to use some on other fire engines we were building. Secondly, e intended a full restoration since it is a perfect specimen for restoration.

This is an ex-King County Airport Aircraft Rescue-Firefighting truck explaining the exceptionally low original mileage of 12,632 miles. Vehicle ID Number: 2381450897

The following information is from the original build spec sheet:

It has the 318 cid engine, he model being the 318-3 H/D V-8. Net horsepower = 165 @ 3900 rpm.

The transmission is the New Process 4 speed manual, P 435 D4, on-synchro 1st and 2nd gears.

The transfer case is New Process 2 speed (Low 1.94:1; High 1.00:1

The axles are Spicer Dana 70 with 4.88:1 gears. Front GVAR = 4,500#. Rear GVAR = 7,500#

GVWR = 10,000#. Wheel base = 133”.

The original red color was repainted when new to “Lime Green (which looks yellow) per requirement of the airport fire service when assigned there from King County Airport fire service to Port of Friday Harbor Airport fire service.

The windshield is cracked. The hole in the cab roof is where the water cannon was removed. If the buyer would like a very reasonable bid from us to weld in a nice patch panel, e will be happy to provide a price quote for doing so.

We recently purchased a very nice 9' steel flatbed with over the cab rack extension that we would have available for purchase if the buyer of the truck is interested in it. We also have available a nice set of steel and wood stock rack/side boards for optional purchase if buyer should desire.

This is an extremely solid vintage truck making it an excellent full restoration candidate. The original owner's manual is with the truck as shown in a photo.

I will be happy to answer any further questions beyond this data via cell at 406-360-2248. Thank you kindly for your interest in viewing our ad and your bids should you do so...Jim
