1993 Dodge Ram 3500

I am listing this truck for a friend. He doesn't do eBay, and I do, so there ya go. If you have any questions that I can't answer, or should you want to make a reasonable offer on the truck, I will put you in touch with him. My friend recently retired from Caterpillar where he was a service technician for over 32 years. He completely redid this Dodge because he was going to start a business after he retired doing what he did for CAT, and has since changed his mind. Now he has no use for this Dodge other than cruising it around, and he already has a couple of other nice trucks for that. He is selling this Dodge for one reason, and one reason only; He needs the room in the garage. I'm going to list some of the things he has done to the truck, but I'm sure I'll miss a few details. Please look closely at the pictures and ask any questions you may have. I can usually get an answer pretty quickly.

This truck is VERY cool. Everywhere it goes it draws a crowd. He is constantly getting thumbs up from people, and even people stopping him at traffic lights to tell him how much they love the truck. Seriously, you could take this thing to Cars and Coffee on Saturday mornings and be proud to pull in. Just imagine this truck with YOUR company name painted on the side. People are going to notice that, and they're going to REMEMBER that. This guy is a mechanic and a fabricator, as well as a painter. He builds BEAUTIFUL hot rod pick ups for a hobby. He knows what he's doing, folks, and he built this truck for his own personal use. Its put together RIGHT. Unfortunately, its in his way, so you get a chance to own it. Keep in mind, he doesn't HAVE to sell it. He doesn't need the money. If it doesn't sell, he will merely start parking it outside and keep it waxed. It costs A LOT of money and takes A LOT of time and effort to do a truck like this. He WILL NOT be giving it away.
Shipping is up to the buyer. He will be glad to help in any way he can to accommodate your shipper, but any and all shipping is up to you. A big truck will not fit down his driveway, but he will be happy to meet someplace nearby to pick it up. If you would like to fly in and drive it home, he will pick you up at Dulles Airport.
A deposit of $500 is due within 24 hours of purchase, and the remainder is due within 7 days. The deposit can be paid with PayPal. The balance may NOT be paid with PayPal. Cash or cashiers check, or possibly a wire transfer if you so choose. If you are picking the truck up, bring cash. Otherwise you're going to be disappointed because the truck doesn't leave until all funds have cleared. In the case of a cashiers check this can take up to two weeks. If you're having the truck shipped, again, ALL funds must clear before truck leaves the garage.
Please keep in mind that this is a 28 year old truck. Even though it's been gone through from front to back, it's STILL 28 years old. Therefore, there are NO WARRANTIES on the truck, expressed or implied. I'm sure most people understand that when they're buying a used vehicle, but for those who don't, there it is.
The truck is for sale locally, so we reserve the right to end this if it sells.
One last thing... If you show up to pick up the truck and you find that I have misrepresented it in any way, you're free to walk away.
Thank you.
