1981 Dodge D-Series D200 pickup truck
This has been our own shop truck for the last four years. It has been reliable for us & got us anywhere we needed to be. We've driven it many times around town, next town over, 40 mile trips & even 100 mile trips. It runs & drives good!318 V8 engine with a 3 speed auto trans.
It was a western truck majority of it's life. Very solid for it's age. We believe it's the original paint. We usually keep it inside our shop overnights.
Windows roll down like they should, heat works great, has an aftermarket radio, seat is in great shape, turn signals work like they should & the brakes stop the truck like they should. It is a bare bones truck & has been great for us.We just had new tires installed all around a couple of months ago. We had a tune-up including spark plugs, wires, dist. cap & rotor around two years ago. We've had the oil/filter normally changed as well.
It does have a minor exhaust leak from one of the manifolds. The engine does seep some smaller spots of oil. It does have one spot of rust on the driver door opening that could be easily patched. Being original paint, it does have it's wear & tear.
