This is a Blast from the Past to Drive. The only reason I am selling this 1988 Dodge Raider is because I purchased it for my 15 year old daughter who wanted it to drive when she turns 16 in June of 2019. My plans were to repaint it in a color scheme similar to the old Ford Broncos which would look amazing. My daughter has now decided she would rather have a car thus the reason you have a chance to own history.
The Raider has been in Florida it's entire life until I purchased it back in April from a dealer in Miami. I had it shipped to TN. Once it arrived, I had it serviced by my personal mechanic who recommended new front brakes, shocks and windshield wipers which I had all done. I purchased new Outer Weatherstrips from Mitsubishi for both the Driver and Passenger doors.
If I were to keep the Raider; other than the new paint job, I would replace both the A/C system to the new R-134a Freon and stereo system. Other than that, it is Fun to drive especially with the Air Ride drivers seat.
The Auction Winner will also receive as a bonus the following items: Owners Manual, Import Service Manuals Volume 1 & 2, original sales brochures for all 3 model years, an original magazine sales ad with the exact model and color scheme as this Raider and 3 sets of keys.
Remember this is a 30 year old SUV (they were only made from 87-89 for Dodge by Mitsubishi) with mostly original parts so it is not perfect but with that said; for a 30 year old SUV, it is in great condition inside and out. It was driven less than 6K per year. The pictures speak for themselves. If you have been in search of one of these classics, you know you are looking at a rare find.
