1936 Dodge Other Pickups

I'm listing this truck to help a friend settle the estate of her father. He purchased the truck quite some time ago and drove it on and off until about 8 years ago. All the time he owned it, it sat under a barn roof close to his house.I inspected it and found it solid and straight. The front bumper in the pictures may or may not be the one that came from the factory, but it was with the truck. The driver side window is currently out of the car but is there. The cab floor, which appears to have been wood, is gone. Both rear cab corners are rusted out. The bed shows rust damage as well but the rest of the body, including the doors, are solid. The engine turns freely. A beer keg on the bed is hooked up as fuel tank. The truck rolls but has no brakes. I made no attempt to get it started, however, we know it ran until only a few years ago and I see no reason why it shouldn't again with only a tune up. It has it's original drive train. Flathead 6, 3 speed manual.

I have been made aware of the possibility that the truck might in fact be a 1937, not 1936 model. I added a pic of the data plates on the firewall. please judge yourself.
