1940 Dodge Other

I found this car last fall. It had been repossessed by an east Texas bank in 1988. The car has set inside sense that time. The title had never been transferred to anyone. I had to go to the bank and get a new releasement in order to transfer it into my name. The title is in my name and clear. This car is a must see. All original numbers matching 1940 Dodge D-14 with 58K believed to be original miles. It has been repainted and the upholstery is not original. Looks to have been done in the 70's. Body has zero rust and only a very few nicks or scrapes (Zero dents). You can place a magnet any where on the body and find no plastic filler. No welded cracks in fenders. The floor pan and trunk pan are solid. There is some rust on frame under radiator which is very repairable. The car runs and drives but has no brakes. All windows operate but, the drivers window has been replaced with plexiglass. Original radiator holds antifreeze with no leaks. The bumpers are perfect and look brand new. No scratches. Grill is straight with no dents. Needs hood center strip. (Missing)I think, it would be difficult to find a 78 year old car in this original condition, a true survivor. It's in too good of condition to be made into a RAT ROD. I build cars and I know the potential this car has. I have too many projects and have reluctantly decided to let this one go. Thanks for looking and good luck.
