1980 Dodge Other Pickups

1980 Dodge D150 long bed pickup. 318 2bbl 4-Speed. This truck runs and drives great. I drove it 120 miles home doing 70 to 75 at times and it drove great. No shimmies, shakes or whines. Also drove it from my house to Bend Oregon and back which is another 230 miles round trip on highway 97 which is a winding road with plenty of hills and still no issues. Story I got with truck was it originated in Nevada and was willed to grandson in Hillsboro, Oregon. He put headers on it, lost interest and sold it to the guy I got it from who bought it and decided he needed a 3/4 ton to haul his boat and camper. Was told the mileage is 77800 original but since I didn't buy it new I won't swear to that however it is a pretty clean truck. You can see the blue has faded in the interior dash and door panels but they are in good shape as far as cracks or being brittle. The seat has some wear marks but still decent. Also this looks to be a non smoker truck. Ashtray has never been used. Brakes and clutch work great, all gauges work even the gas gauge, wipers and heater work, selectors to turn temp up and down and switch from floor to defrost work, factory AM radio works, Inside dome light and cargo light works, cig. lighter works, headlights, tail lights, turn signals, brake lights, park lights, dash lights, backup lights all work. Horn works as well. Still has factory bottle jack assembly mounted under hood. The grille is in great shape, really straight for its age, no trim on the sides which in my opinion is the best since trim is always dinged up. The rust you see in pics on the body is just surface. Tires are fair, No rust holes in floor or anywhere else. Only issues is they had a rubber mat in the bed. There are no rust holes but a little scaling that needs cleaned up and sealed and they bolted 2 pieces of metal to the tailgate to protect it while open resting on bumper instead of replacing the hinges. Don't know what happened to original hinges but I will put a set on it. Also rear bumper is not original but the one on it looks ok. It does have a hitch and trailer brakes. Core support in the majority of these trucks under the battery box is rotted out bad but this one. The last two pics are of the cab bottom floor pans where these trucks are prone to have rust. Very solid good running driving truck. This is a rare truck for the condition it is in. I will try to answer any questions and send additional pictures if needed.
