This is an original, low mileage example that has undergone partial restoration andmaintenance work over the years. Less than 50,000 original miles. Very limitedproduction numbers. Only 5,737 Super Bees with the 383, 335 HP engine and automatictransmission were built in 1970. Vehicle maintains the correct, numbers matchingcomponents in the engine and drive train. Engine was rebuilt once in the eighties. Allcomponents in the engine are factory original, with the exception of replacement partsused in the engine rebuild. Trunk and undercarriage are primarily untouched originals, with the exception of maintenance over the years. Vehicle may have had one repaint inthe eighties. Interior is in primarily original condition. Originally purchased new by awoman that worked on the line at the Belvedere assembly plant.
Examples of original, low mileage, numbers matching Super Bees are rare. Limitedproduction color combination of beige exterior with black vinyl top, and saddle taninterior. Vehicle is mechanically in very good shape, capable of regular driving.
This vehicle is capable of competing successfully in expositions, displays, exhibits, orshows.
This vehicle is not driven as daily transportation. This is a special use vehicle.
