Description:

1969 Dodge Charger

Up for sale is my 1969 Dodge Charger with a 383ci motor, 727 torqueflite transmission and suregrip posi rearend. Car has been stored in a garage for at least 15 years. I believe that the 75k on the odometer is accurate. I bought it about 10 years ago and didn't touch it until last year. I took it to my meticulous metal guy whoworked his magicon it. By the way he is a huge mopar guy and treated this car with the love and respect that he believes it deserves. I've included a couple of pics of the patch panels. There are more but ebay only allows 24 pics. Needless to say absolutely all the metal work is done. After the metal work I shipped it off to my brother who is a well respected mechanic. He brought the car back to life and recommended that I buy a few things and since I had planned on keeping the car, I did. To name a few:

US Mags 15x8(back) and 15x7(front)

BF Goodrich Radial T/A (225/60 and 245/60)

Holley 650cfmcarburetor

Torqueflite kickdowncable assembly

Throttle cable bracket

MSD 6AL digital box

MSD billet electronic distributor

MSD blaster II coil

8.5mm spark plug wires

spark plugs

temperature sending unit

dash dimmer switch

sill plates

carpet and sound deadener

sun visors

front arm rests

window crank handles

and so much more. Anyway you get the picture. I was going to keep the car and was treating it as such. Always knew I wasn't a mopar guy but thought I might be a Dukes of Hazard guy. Guess not. Just not my kind of car. I'm a ford guy.

The car runs good and shifts well. Exhaust doesn't smoke. It has the sure grip rearend. Couldn't help but leave a couple of posi strips in my driveway. Power steering works great. Glass is all good. The body is mint. Absolutely no metal work needed. The chrome is pretty decent for the year. Not all dented up but spotty. The bumpers cleaned up really well. The paint isn't a finish paint job but looks good.Interior is complete but the seats are showing the affects of the long term storage and some of the stitching is coming undone. But the cushions are very firmlike nobody has ever sat on them. Rear package tray is in good shape. Headliner has twosmall holes(see pic)Dash is nice except for a 3" crack (see pic). Again probably due to neglect. Headlights open and close flawlessly. Grill assembly is all there. I could go on and on describing positives but look at the pics and if you have any questions or want to see more pics (I have more of the patch panels too) shoot me an email. It's an extremely solid car and I'd like to see it go to someone who can appreciate it.Drive it like it is, looking extremely menacing or take it to the next level.

I do want to point out a few negatives. There is a slight vacuum leak around the carb (a little whistle). Needs a blinker switch. One of the rear wheel bearings needs to be replaced (a little noisy). Speedometer doesn't work. Temperature gauge doesn't work. I put a sending unit in it, so must be the gauge. All pretty minor but I want to disclose what I know. I don't need to sell the car but I know I have no interest in it and the money will go a long way towards my mach 1. Inspections are possible by appointment.

Please do not bid if you don't wish to own this car or will just retract your bid. I will not accept bids from users with no transactions (this means youjuan from chile).Winner will pay a deposit of 500 dollars due within 24 hoursvia paypal. Balance paid by cash, cashier's check, bank wire transfer or paypaldue within seven days. Car will not be released until funds have cleared my bank.

Good Luck!

and thanks for looking
