1970 Dodge Charger R/T 440

You're looking at a real-deal 1970 Dodge Charger R/T 440 V8 coupe. That's right, this is an exceptionally popular, but very rare muscle car, that's still has its original motor! And while this muscle machine already came loaded from the factory, you'll notice some terrific upgrades to make this muscle Mopar even more powerful.
We've known that these have always been special cars, and that's why this one received a full restoration back in 1995. And when you pay for quality, it lasts. That's why the upgrade to Hemi Orange still looks so vivid right now. The squared-off bodywork with its muscular curves and intimidating simulated vents on the front doors looks good in any color, but this bright orange finish seems to give it an aggressive touch that cannot be ignored. Of course, these Chargers never needed much help with intimidation, thanks to the wraparound chrome front bumper. It draws attention to the recessed front end that looks like it will inhale anything that gets in its way. And not only is that grille shadowy, but also the vinyl roof and bumblebee stripe on the rear come together to give this a well-coordinated dark side.
We love it when the exterior accent color is also a preview of the interior color. Plus, this will draw attention for being a thoroughly loaded car right from the factory. It has the high-back bucket seats with center console, and everything is quite correct from the heater/defrost controls to the AM radio. Plus, there's plenty of classic-style luxury wood veneering on the dash and console as well as the upgraded sports steering wheel. And while we love the look of the full Rallye gauge package, the large AutoMeter tach mounted on the steering column lets you know there's something extra special under the hood.
The big 440 cubic-inch Magnum V8 is the numbers-matching powerplant for this car. And while that info will make any Mopar fan weak in the knees, there's much more here. This monster motor has been enhanced and fortified with go-fast goodies like dual Edelbrock four-barrel carburetors, an aluminum intake, four-core radiator, Procomp ignition, and Hooker Competition headers that add power as they contribute to the thunder of the H-pipe dual exhaust. The Torqueflite A727 three-speed automatic transmissions were made stout enough to handle all this extra power. And making sure this power properly gets to the ground is a Dana 60 axle with limited slip and a 4.56 ratio - that's perfect for power takeoffs. Plus, you have wide Cooper Cobra tires on Weld racing wheels.
It's getting harder and harder to find these factory high-spec big-block Chargers. This is the one that gives you everything you could want for far less than the price of building or restoring a vintage Mopar for yourself. Don't miss this deal, call today!
