1956 Dodge Coronet

1956 Dodge Coronet 2 door hardtop. Survivor. Solid Colorado car!

I am the second owner. I believe the Crown Yellow paint is original where as the white was redone at some point. I cannot detect to sign of bodywork or bondo on this car. Normal surface rust underneath but no rot through that I could detect. Super straight! some chips and dings. Missing trim on right quarter. Needs brakes, exhaust water pump. She runs and shifts well. She needs the usual for a car that has been sitting. The steering wheel is off center when steering it, I was told that this can be corrected with an adjustment on the front end.Interior is a bit ratty. I am officially the second owner of the car. It has 32,000 original miles. I was able to get that documented in a letter I wrote to the widow of the original owner. Bought new in Burlington, Colorado. Driven around town only and then by the daughter for school and then it was parked. It looks like it might have been set up to tow a trailer at some point as there is a connector coming through the deck lid.Crack in passenger window. I bought the car over the summer, washed it and put it in my garage, but have not touched it since.

UPDATE: Car ran great, but after sitting for a few months, went to start it but it would not start. Does not seem to be getting spark. Ordered a tune up kit for it. Needs carb rebuilt.

Please ask questions before bidding. Car is sold As-Is. If you have zero or negative feedback, please contact me before bidding. Buyer is responsible for pickup within 2 weeks of purchase.

Thanks!

One thing I forgot to mention. Front drivers fender replaced shortly after it was new. Missing the Coronet emblem. I do have a new horn center and ring and the car comes with original build sheet, spare key blanks and brochures. Also a full set of Royal Lancer hubcaps. Yellow is worn through in spots. Cleopatra is not included :) Thanks!
