Description:

1993 Dodge Ram 3500 LE

I am the second owner of this dependable truck. I bought it with 170,000 miles and has been my daily driver and work truck. This truck only left me stranded once when the rear differential decided to lock up. It has obviously been repaired and fully rebuilt with new bearings, ring, pinion, and seals. I really hate to sell this truck and I know I'm going to regret it but I do have other life priority's right now. As they say with these first gens, Ill buy another one someday!
The good:This truck has a custom 6.2L (stroked) Cummins Engine which consists of a 5.9L block, 24 valve head, 6.7L crankshaft and custom pistons. This truck is also equipped with a 6.7L Performance turbocharger with full exhaust brake capabilities and an electronic controller to fully adjust all the parameters of the VGT turbo. The head and block have been machined for 14MM head fasteners. The injectors have been pop matched and tested. The 24v head has been ported and polished (fully) and has the intake rail removed and a custom high air flow intake rail installed along with duel 110Lb valve springs installed. The crank shaft gear has been welded to ensure it will never slip. Currently the truck has 100hp injectors installed and the Injection pump has been professionally modified by Terrain Equipment. There is over $15K invested into the motor and super powerful. The transmission has a southbend clutch rated for 600hp and it sometimes slips if the larger injectors are installed. I can give you the model of clutch to the buyer if you request it. Recent upgrades include Mishimoto Radiator, 68mm Turbocharger, Truck-lite Led headlights, full LED lights all around the truck, extended front fenders (6'' larger wheel well), rebuilt rear differential, and many more. There are a lot of upgrades and work done to the truck and it runs extremely well. The steering has been upgraded with a cross over steering kit which removes the short inferior drag link that came stock. I also have a leveling kit that I wanted to get installed this spring, it consists of longer shackles and spring perches super strong kit that a lot of off road people install on their trucks. I will give this to the new owner.
The Bad:The paint on the truck was my next project but I have decided to sell the truck instead. The paint is peeling but the factory primer is not.The exhaust brake switch that I had on the shift knob just got chewed off by my wife's new pup. Easy fix.Ever sense I've owned the truck the 5th gear requires a technique to downshift. I don't know why but the shifter seems to come out of the shifting fork inside the transmission when trying to down shift into neutral, the technique to down shift is quite simple... shift to the right then down into neutral. I've always drove it that way and have put almost 70k miles that way.lastly, the turn signals don't work unless the head lights are on. Again this has always been this way and it does'nt bother me because I like to drive with my headlights on for safety anyway.
I am selling to pay off my other vehicle. Tires are 65% remaining. Sold with headache rack and tool box.Thank you for your interest and I hope it goes to a responsible owner who will take care of it and appreciate it, this truck has a lot of life remaining.
