Description:

1945 Dodge Panel Wagon

I am selling this vehicle for a friend that has owned it since 1976. It was found in a field in Vernal Utah and it was originally blue, with signage showing that it was used by a flooring company throughout the 50's and 60's. After buying the truck it was driven to Lousiana where it spent a lot of time being restored. In the 80's, it was completely stripped, sandblasted, and painted with a marine grade rust preventative in a New Orleans shipyard.
The seller in 1976 told the current owner that he thought it was a 1946 MY. However, during the title application process, research with Dodge showed that it was a 1945 model due to the serial number.

Balanced and blueprinted 327 ci V8 bored 10 over with a 260 cam, from a 1968 Chevrolet Caprice. There are only 700 miles on the engine since the rebuild in the late 80's.
Chev 400 turbo automatic transmission that came from the same 1968 Chevrolet Caprice as the engine.
New 4 barrel carb (in the last few years).
1974 Mustang front end
1974/5 Malibu rear end that had struts that matched up with the frame.
4 wheel disc brakes
Air conditioning installed in the late 80's
The truck runs and drives BUT it needs an interior, fuel tank, wiring work, and the brakes need work.
The truck has a free and clear negotiable Lousiana title and antique vehicle tags.
I have a stack of paperwork and receipts that I can email anyone interested.
I am more than happy to video chat with you on Skype to show you the car and answer any detailed questions.
We can assist with transportation, anywhere in the lower 48 US and Canada.
These are very rare due to the majority of Dodges production that year going towards the war effort.
Please call or text me at 281-973-6001 or message me through EBay, should you have any questions and please call me before placing a bid. The car is up for sale locally so I need to know your intentions before it goes locally. Therefore, we do reserve the right to end the auction early if we do not have any interest on EBaybut a local buyer has put down a deposit.
