Price: US $5,999.99 Item location: Statesboro, Georgia, United States
Description:

1968 Dodge Other Pickups Sweptline 1/2 ton

1968 Dodge Adventurer Sweptline pickup.
318 cubic inch engine."3-on-the-tree" manual shift transmission
Upgraded interior.Nice aftermarket wheels.
VERY SOLID & Straight body, with only a few small areas of rust (one spot at the very rear of the driver's bed side @ the rear bumper; small rust bubbles on the top rear of both front fenders; & a small spot of rust thru on the driver rocker panel, & a few rust pimples on the pass door). Door sills have been replaced & driver's floor has been patched. This is NOT a "Rust Bucket"! Door bottoms are solid, drip rails are solid, bed floor is solid, etc. etc. There are a few minor (very small) dings here & there from normal age/use, but you have to look really hard to find these.
Please look at pictures! I have tried to capture all known flaws/defects.
Needs a new rubber seal around the front windshield (the current rubber has cracked due to age). Brake lights don't work periodically (probably just a loose wire or a bad switch); & speedometer is inaccurate (might just need to have the cable lubed). Has not been driven for several months (I've been working overseas) so it will probably need a new battery, have fluids changed, bleed brakes, etc.
Gets decent gas mileage (16-18mpg) for a big V8! Very SOLID 68 Dodge!
I have tried to describe this very nice truck to the best of my knowledge.
I believe in disclosing all known defects up front so that there are NO Surprises or BS.That said, this is a 50 year old truck, so please don't expect it to be perfect.
I believe that I have priced this truck Very Fairly, especially given the solid & mostly original condition!
Please feel free to ask me any questions. I will do my best to answer promptly.
