1971 Dodge Challenger

Now the good, the bad and the ugly!

The Good

Transmission professionally rebuilt by Steves Speed shop

Rust repaired & repainted by NC Classic Restorations.

Rebuilt motor & carburetor installed by Eddie Boyd (race car builder)

Interior redone by Auto Tops & Interiors (only needs new mirror to be 100%)

Vinyl top in excellent shape

All gauges work as does the map light (not the clock – they never did)

Three of the four exterior running lights work (driver front needs new harness)

Changed the rear wheels out for 15 inchers (original 14” included but need sand blasting)

Dual stainless steel exhaust tips

All lights and wipers work fine – passed inspection in 2012 (no longer required in NC)

Good chrome and glass all around

The Bad

Five or six chips in the paint

Air conditioning system is complete but non-working (needs conversion)

Weather stripping on the doors need replacing

AM radio present but doesn’t work

The Ugly

Rust has come through on the trunk lid and under the vinyl below glass
