Description:

1938 Dodge Other

This is a project car that has been stored and in some stage of amateur restoration since 1975. To the best of my knowledge, it has not been touched since sometime in the 1980's. It's a very solid car with all kinds of potential, whether it be a restoration project or a hot rod. The car however should only be consideredas a complete restorationor build. There is notmuch body workrequired. The engine was rebuilt butnever started. There are machine shop receipts showing various labor operations. The previous owner had cleaned & painted the frame and done a lot of the mechanical restoration on the driveline. To the best of my knowledge and according to the last owner, all the original parts are there except an original gear shift knob. The photos show the car as it sits now. There are lots of parts and spares included. The boxes and totes are full. There is a NOS gas tank in the car. There is a NOS radiator along with the original. There is a new clutch on the engine. There are two accessory hot water / electric heaters and an old era correct 6V tube radio. There are also some other Dodge / Plymouth spare parts that I do not think fit this car, but are all included. I also have repair manuals and some other literature including an original Dodge factory parts catalogue. The mileage is listed at 000 because I do not know how many miles are on the car. PLEASE READ THIS PART CAREFULLY. The car is located approximately 1 hour north of Atlanta, GA. Pick up and transportation is 100% the responsibility of the buyer. A $1,000.00 deposit via Paypal is required at the close of the auction. The balance can be paid in cash when it is picked up. Pickup is requiredwithin 14 days. Other pick up arrangements can be discussed, provided payment in full is made within the 14 days. DO NOT BID IF YOU DON'T PLAN TO FOLLOW THROUGH. The last photo posted is not the car. It is just a sample of what a complete '38 can look like. I have not sold anything on ebay for quite sometime, so all of my recent feedback is as a buyer. But if you find your way into my feedback history, you will see that my seller feedback reflects my buyer feedback.
