It stops with discs in the front, 11" drums rear. The bumpers are very special with shaved & welded bumper bolts, painted to match the car front & back.
According to the 6 page full color story in January 2014s issue of the Mopar Collectors Guide Magazine this build started from a true "little old ladies" car with an original 60K miles purchased in St Louis MO. Dan States added the 440, 6 pack, 4 speed combo as well as a posi-traction, 140MPH Police car speedometer, tach & many other muscle car touches. Keep in mind the speedo is not original to the car so the body has perhaps 70K on it at the moment & the engine/trans have only 3000 miles onthem at most! (Meaning broken in, still tight as a drum & ready to run!)
The car comes with two Mopar Collectors guides:Jan 2014 issue has a 6 pagefull color story & this car on the front cover! The second is from March 15 & rates this as the 3rd best Mopar custom build of 2014! A large poster was made for car shows that is also included as well as a clear VA title.
The interior isclean, complete, undamaged&almost entirely original: Thecarpet was custom made by ACC to fit the 4 speed but otherwise everything is like new, supple & tight with no rips or damage anywhere:Its honestly like time stood still for this car inside & out! Working factory AM/FM radio. The manual steering column is built from 2 different cars & color matched so it appears factory. Pedals are from a rare 69 c-body with 3 speed manual. (If you haven't guessed yet: Chrysler, Dodge & Plymouth NEVER built a 4 speed c-body during the fuselage years so this car is one of a kind! The seats have nice tight springs typical of a car with under 70K. The tachometer works& the 140 Police certifieddash board/gauge clusteris flawless. A one of a kind piece of American history that anyone would be proud to own. Being this clean, stuffed with only the best & most powerful parts & featured in two Mopar magazines... this isonly going toappreciate in value! Its been a pleasure to own, never, ever a single regret buying it. The only regret I will have iswhen it sells;) Happy Bidding! PLEASE READ BEFORE BIDDING:A special thanks goes to the Elliston VA Volunteer Fire Dept. for allowing me to take photos of the car for this listing. The builder of this great vehicle, Dan States, passed away recently. He was much too young & had so much moreto offer the Mopar community. He is greatlymissedbut the many cars he built at his shop, Superior Muscle Cars, are certaintoprolong his legacy.

Buyers are encouraged to see the vehicle in person: there is nothing to hide & I want you to be happy with the purchase! This vehicle is very close to butnotflawless.Thecar came with air & its still all in place, its been sealed to keep the bugs/dirt/water out & the car comes with the correct hoses, also sealed. To put air back on the car would require a smaller compressor because of the 6 pack air cleaner.I have sometimes heard an exhaust leak between the drivers side manifold& the exhaust pipe when very warm. Despite the tight build & attention to detail this vehicle leaks to some small extent when sitting: oil, radiator fluid & trans fluid: many old cars do & did. All vintage vehicles need constant love & attention, expect that. (However this one less than most as during the3 yearsI've owned it no serious issues EVER came up) Dan builds 'em tight!

If distance keeps anyone from seeing the car in person I will be happy to speakto you: 540-384-7440 (call between 12 noon & 8:00 EST any day of the week). I have many more photos: undercarriage, interior, engine & body. I will be happy to send them to anyone who provides an email address. Bidding ends 9:00 the 21st of May. Winning bidders must pay a $100 non-refundable deposit. I KNOW right? That's not much. Final payment is expected 7 days after the listing ends by cash in person, Paypal (if you use friends/family option) or bank to bank wire transfer. I will be here to help after the listing is over to help get it delivered, loaded or if you plan to drive it home. The vehicle will be allowed to stay for2 weeks after the end of the listing for free. $20. per week indoor storage after. (I am selling to get my garage back so Ican focus ona 69 Superbee project.)
