HALL STREET MACHINES SHOP TRUCK!! Super Cool 1971 Dodge Sweptline Short Box Street Killer!
Exterior: This 71' Street Truck was stripped to its original metal finish with original dents and imperfections for the original look. Custom pinstriping by Brad's inside and out with hidden details from Top to Bottom! Interior has a custom Red Gator Skin Seat with a Black surround and Silver piping, 30'' laser cut custom shifter, tach and remote door pops.
Drive train: Pro Built 1970 340 Mopar Power Plant with ported U Heads, Edelbrock RPM Airgap manifold ( port matched to heads) Stainless valves, Comp Xtreme Energy custom ground cam, 9.5 to 1 TRW pistons, custom built 7 quart oil pan, high volume oil pump, 750 cfm Edelbrock carb, Orange box electronic distributor, Headers with full Header wrap. Battery was added to the back with aluminum self contained box. Hi torque mini starter added as well. This motor was broke in professionally and has less than 300 miles on it. Nice choppy idle and runs HARD!
Transmission: 727 Torque Flite with a small 2500 stall convertor. Professionally built with all the best components available. This transmission also has less than 300 miles.
Rear End: 8 3/4 mopar with a 3.91 sure grip posi unit and new brakes. Added traction bars with custom pinstriping for that period correct look. Center section has less than 300 miles on it.
Front Suspension: Boxed front end with IFS front suspension, Complete power brake system added with drilled and slotted rotors, Prop valve, Nicop lines, Manual stearing rack, Custom built steering linkage to steering rack. This street truck drives down the road perfectly straight and handles very nice.
Exhaust: Custom built 2 1/2 inch exhaust with H pipe and a very cool side exhaust exit with killer tips, trim surround and machine bolts added for that killer look. Flowmaster 40 series mufflers have been added for that mean aggressive sound! Marine rubber exhaust pieces added from the exhaust tip extension to exhaust pipe for flexibility. Exhaust is fully welded at joints and mufflers.
Wheels: With that cool low aggressive look 22'' ( Double Dueces!! ) Velocity Wheels were added with low profile handling tires.
This Street Truck is VERY COOL!! Really fun to drive and gets the looks! Fast and reliable. Everything works as it should. The body is not perfect as we wanted to show this machine for what it is, TUFF! There are dents, scratches and a few rattles etc. ONLY 300 MILES ON COMPLETE DRIVE TRAIN. Simplicity and Performance at its best!
